By Alexander Cobbs The Marvel Cinematic Universe also known as the MCU has been nothing short of successful. It is said to be perhaps the most successful franchise of all time. Now in the fourth phase of their productions, the MCU continues to release well-written highly successful movies and shows based on events from the Marvel comics. With their newest movie “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania” on its way to theaters premiering February 17, 2023, fans across the globe are excited to see what will happen. Here is a preview on the upcoming movie “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania”
The most recent trailer for the movie came out on January 10, 2023. It starts off with a strange, unfamiliar voice talking to Scott Lang, which is Ant-Man’s identity behind the suit. The voice tells Scott that he understands what it is like to have lost a lot of time, referring to the vanishing of half the population by Thanos which caused Scott’s daughter Cassie to skip from the age of 9 to 14 once they reunited. In the upcoming film, Cassie is confirmed to be currently 18 years old. The strange voice tells Scott that they could help each other with their problems, suggesting some sort of a deal. The voice says to Scott that he is the man who can give Scott the one thing he wants, which is time. The strange voice is revealed to be none other than “Kang The Conqueror,” who is a famous villain that has made multiple appearances in the Marvel comics. Janet Van Dyne, the mother of Hope Van Dyne, also known as The Wasp, tries to warn Scott of the dangers of Kang’s power. Scott tells her that he does not care as long as it gives him a second chance with his daughter Cassie. Kang tells Ant-Man that he will bring him what he needs or everything that Scott calls life will end. The trailer then jumps to Ant-Man telling Kang that they had a deal which suggests that Kang eventually betrays Scott. Then it wraps up with Kang asking Ant-Man if he really thought he could win against him. Ant-Man responds to the question saying “I don’t have to win, we both just have to lose.” This movie looks like it’s going to be an exciting one. Once again, the movie will be streaming in all theaters starting February 17. Do not miss out on the excitement of a new realm in “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.”
