By: Jacob Pelayo Picture via Mcdonalds.com As we all know, a special holiday is coming up on March 17th: St. Patrick's Day. The holiday of green and the Irish. Some restaurants serve special and different things for this holiday. The one that will be talked about here is a shake from McDonald's. This shake is called a Shamrock Shake. It’s basically just a shake but with green coloring. I went around the Saint Anthony campus to interview my fellow sophomores and ask what they think about the Shamrock Shake. When asking fellow student, Matthew Gath, he said, “I like these shakes very much, I really look forward to St. Patrick's day just for the Shamrock Shake.” But this was the only positive review I had heard when asking this question. Every time I tried asking people this question, all they responded with was “ew” and “yuck.” Connor Barrett and Presley Audiss both said that the shakes had no taste. They claimed that it tasted like food dye. They hated it, and both said that they would never want to get this again. When I tried this shake for myself, I realized what people were talking about. It was nothing special at all, had no flavor, and was a waste of time and money. I do not recommend that people try this. Leave a comment down below about what you think about the Shamrock Shake.
