By Tyler Cazares Shortly after the Saints lost in the CIF Quarter Finals, they began a summer league. The teams this year are ranked much higher than usual and are all around Division 1. The Saints will be facing schools such as Millikan, Wilson, Downey, and plenty of other great schools. Some of the players coming up to Varsity this year will make a big difference as they have improved drastically over time. So far the Saints have played Millikan and Downey twice. They are both promising teams that the Saints had to fight long and hard to have a chance against.
St. Anthony baseball could have a great summer league if everyone plays their hardest and gives it their all. They ended their spring season with a 69% win rate and are hoping to do even better this summer. I know that the boys will have a fun filled summer while still working hard and getting ready for next season
