By Noah Buchanan A 25 year old suspect has been arrested for chewing off an elderly’s man ear and part of his face inside a Portland, Oregon, subway. What you hear next you may not believe. The 25 year old suspect has been identified as Koryn Kraemer. He stated to the cops that he believed the 78 year old victim was a killer “robot.” Kraemer was charged with a second-degree assault charge. The victim was standing on the platform at around 2 am Tuesday, January 3, 2023, when Kraemer, who was allegedly drunk and high on fentanyl and marijuana, approached the elderly man and proceeded to eat his face. When police arrived at the scene, they had to pull Kramer off the victim. By then, the 25 year old had chewed off the man’s ears and had bitten off his face to the point of exposing his skull. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
“In a subsequent interview with law enforcement, Kraemer stated that he believed the victim was a killer ‘robot,’ and was trying to kill the man based on how the victim smelled,” District Attorney Schmidt said in a statement. Kraemer also said that he had spit out the victim's flesh that he had bitten off and claimed the police “had saved his life by separating him from ‘the robot’”. He later confessed to consuming alcohol, cannabis and fentanyl pills prior to the incident. Kraemer appeared in court Wednesday, January 4, 2023, where he pleaded not guilty to the assault charge. The prosecutors asked that the defendant be held without bail until trial. Kraemer will remain in bars pending a detention hearing that has not yet been scheduled. Kraemer grew up in Westfield, New Jersey, and previously attended Oberlin College in Ohio, where he was a goalie on the men’s soccer team in 2015 and 2016. With a promising career ahead of him, Kraemer’s behavior under the influence shows how deadly drugs truly are and especially one certain drug fentanyl and how it can ruin someone’s career like Koryn Kraemer’s.
